What Muay Thai training in Thailand may cost

Rough ranges for classes, packages and accommodation, with the details that change the real number.

Prices vary by camp, length of stay, and season, so treat these as ranges to plan around, not quotes. Always confirm the current rate with the camp before you book.

Class and training prices we checked

  • Sumalee Boxing Gym, Phuket: single group class about 500 THB; weekly unlimited about 3,500 THB
  • Tiger Muay Thai, Phuket: Muay Thai training from about 4,400 THB per week; all classes from about 5,500 THB per week, before 7 percent VAT
  • Santai Muay Thai, Chiang Mai: training from about 8 US dollars per day, per the camp's site

What changes the number

  • Whether accommodation is included or booked separately
  • Length of stay, since weekly and monthly rates lower the daily cost
  • Private sessions, which are charged on top of group training
  • Tax, which some camps add on top of the listed price

Food, travel, and gear are on top of training. Many camps sell gloves and shorts, so you can pack light and buy on arrival. For exact figures, use each camp's page and confirm with the camp.
