At a glance

Diamond Muay Thai has been running on Koh Phangan since 2011, making it one of the island's most established camps. Training runs twice daily Monday to Saturday with two-hour sessions. The trainer roster includes veterans with 200 to 400 professional fights. All equipment is provided on arrival. Students who want to compete can fight representing the gym at monthly island fight nights or at larger stadiums in South Thailand. Accommodation ranges from fan bungalows to air-conditioned deluxe suites within walking distance of Nai Wok beach.

10 percent discount on all training-only packages paid at least one month in advance. Train and Stay packages include 2 sessions per day, 2 meals per day, yoga, fitness classes, and 24-hour gym access. Bungalow weekly rates: 7,000 to 12,000 THB; monthly: 24,000 to 40,000 THB for the deluxe suite. Prices confirmed March 2026.

Training and schedule

Monday to Saturday. Morning class 08:00 to 10:00, afternoon class 16:00 to 18:00. Muay Thai Fitness on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 12:00 to 13:00. Yoga Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 13:00 to 14:30. Closed Sunday.

Who it suits

A strong choice for beginners who want real technique with genuine Thai trainers and for experienced students or fighters who want to compete during their stay. The bungalow-to-suite accommodation range suits longer stays. Not ideal for those who need MMA or BJJ alongside Muay Thai.

Common questions

How far is Diamond from the ferry port?
About five minutes by taxi from the ThongSala ferry pier.
Do I need to bring my own gloves?
No. All equipment including gloves and hand wraps is provided on site.
Can I compete while training here?
Yes. The gym places students in monthly fight nights on the island and in larger stadiums around South Thailand when both trainer and student agree readiness.
