At a glance

Suwit Muay Thai is one of the longer-running camps in Phuket. Classes are deliberately small, typically one to five students, which gives more pad time and individual feedback per session than a larger commercial gym. The camp has its own on-site stadium and can arrange in-house fights. Accommodation is available at the camp and at a second building a short walk away.

Training and schedule

Two sessions a day, morning and afternoon, six days a week. Sunday is a rest day. Each session runs about two hours and covers warm-up, running, skipping, shadow boxing, bag and pad work, clinch and sparring.

  • Group Muay Thai (1 to 5 students per class)
  • Private one-on-one training
  • Fight preparation with in-house stadium bouts
  • Fan and air-conditioned rooms on site and nearby

Rooms

Fan rooms and air-conditioned rooms at the camp and at a second building about 300 metres away. All rooms have a private bathroom, cable TV and WiFi. AC rooms include hot water and a refrigerator. Rooms can be booked separately or bundled with training.

Who it suits

A good fit for people who want small-class attention and the option to fight in house. The camp suits beginners and intermediates who want a personal training relationship. Not ideal for those who want MMA, BJJ or a large gym with many training partners.

Is there accommodation on site?
Yes. Fan rooms and AC rooms are available at the camp and nearby. Both can be bundled with training.
